Social Impact Academy (SIA) CLASS

Stepping into a room filled with young social innovators eager to make an impact was nothing short of inspiring. From the very beginning, it was clear that these changemakers had powerful stories to tell, but many struggled with how to craft and own their narratives. Through the session, we unpacked storytelling in its simplest, most effective form. One participant’s words captured the essence of our time together: “Storytelling has never been this simple.” That was the goal to demystify the art of storytelling, showing that it’s not about complicated techniques but about clarity, authenticity, and intentionality. To drive the lesson home, I stepped forward to tell a story because every life experience is a story in motion. I reminded them: Don’t let your narrative sway aimlessly. Own it. Shape it with purpose. Let it work for the impact you seek to create. By the end of the session, these young innovators were not just listeners but confident storytellers, ready to use their voices to drive change. Seeing that transformation the shift from uncertainty to clarity was the true mark of impact. Their stories will change the world. And I can’t wait to see how.

Women of Purpose Brunch

When @mina_atambi and I discussed the Women of Purpose Brunch (WOP Brunch), she shared the vision and the goal, and I immediately knew this was something for posterity! Mina said to me, “Renny, every woman in this room must be seen, heard, and celebrated!” And I dare say—-I got the memo. 📌

RAF Appreciation Dinner

I hosted the RAF (Rich Aunty Finance) Appreciation Dinner, a vibrant end-of-year celebration that brought together clients, investors, and associates. The evening was a wonderful reflection on RAF’s journey throughout 2024, with insights shared on the company’s growth and accomplishments, as well as exciting projections for 2025. Guests enjoyed a night filled with fun, laughter, and music, featuring dancing and singing with the incredible Women of RAF. It was a perfect way to celebrate success and look ahead to an even brighter future.

DARE Conference

The 2024 DARE Conference, organized by YouthHubAfrica, was a powerful gathering centered on the theme “Youth and the Pact for the Future.” This event brought together thought leaders, experts, and passionate young people to engage in critical conversations on pressing issues such as education, climate change, youth in politics, and the urgent need for a collaborative approach to Africa’s future. The conference highlighted the new resolution from the 2024 Summit of the Future, emphasizing the pivotal role of youth in shaping a sustainable and prosperous continent. It was an inspiring day of innovation, dialogue, and shared commitment to securing a brighter future for Africa’s next generation.

CFA End-of-Year Celebration

I had the honor of hosting the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) Society Abuja’s End-of-Year Celebration at Jakes Club in the heart of Abuja. The event brought together newly inducted members, current members, and candidates from Levels 1, 2, and 3 to unwind and reflect on the year’s achievements. The evening was filled with camaraderie, as friends and colleagues reminisced on a year of success, growth, and shared commitment to progress in the financial sector. It was a memorable occasion, fostering connections and setting the stage for continued excellence in the year ahead.

COSPRA Summit

I had the privilege of moderating a thought-provoking panel discussion at the COSPRA Summit, hosted by the Ndukwe Kalu Foundation (NKF). The session focused on the rights and welfare of children in the digital age, addressing critical issues around child protection, online safety, and the role of law enforcement.
